Last July the Shadow Dam Committee, with much appreciated help from members, spent some time at the dam and continued the process of removing the unwanted vegetation. While we put a dent into it, there is still a long way to go. The committee is again asking for any volunteers who may be visiting the Flow on Saturday November 1st to pitch in and help continue with the work. Bring chainsaws, brush saws, loppers, weedwhackers, etc.

Depending on conditions and lifting of any burn ban, we will have a bonfire to burn materials taken down earlier in the year, and any additional debris removed that day. We don’t need, or want to remove the roots, just trim back the vegetation to as close to the ground as possible.
